Egina Manachova is an independent curator and activist living in Philadelphia. Her work lies at the intersection of international human rights and media. Her background is in film and media studies. She received her degree in History of Art and Film Studies from Bryn Mawr College in 2014 and has lectured about critically engaging with visual information at Moore College of Art, Haverford College, and at the University of Pennsylvania. Egina organized a regular film series entitled PlayTime at Aux Performance Space, Vox Populi Gallery, and ran a monthly screening series as a member of FLUXSpace in Philadelphia.
