Act 48 Credit for Pennsylvania Educators
Act 48 requires all Pennsylvania educators holding public school certification to participate in ongoing professional education.
The Fleisher Art Memorial is an approved Act 48 provider. Act 48 hours are provided through the sponsorship of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
For the Fall 2010 semester, there are ten workshops
which Pennsylvania educators may take for Act 48 credit:
Book Arts: Introduction | W340
Digital Photography: Introduction | AW160
Digital Photography: Introduction | AW324
Digital Photography: Introduction | AW341
Pronto Plates: The Instant Lithograph | AW3113

The number of Act 48 hours for these workshops is equal to the number of class hours attended (maximum of 30 per workshop in a ten-week semester).
In order to receive Act 48 credit for these courses, there will be a $5 administrative fee (as of Fall 2010) in addition to the cost of tuition and lab fees. To pay the fee along with your online registration, please add an additional $5 in the donation field and make a note that this amount is for Act 48. We will follow up with you at the end of the semester to fill out the necessary paperwork.
