Fleisher is incredibly excited to partner with Reading Terminal Market, one of America’s oldest public markets, to lead an art competition for a new version of the market’s reusable tote bags, which are available for sale through the market’s many vendors. The competition will open on Monday, April 18, 2016 and all submissions are due by midnight, May 23, 2016.

The competition is open to current Fleisher members as well as teaching artists and students who have taught or taken, respectively, at least one class at Fleisher from April 18, 2015 to April 18, 2016. The winner, selected by a small jury comprising three representatives from Reading Terminal Market and three from Fleisher, will receive a cash prize of $1,000.

Interested in participating? Artwork must be digital, vector-based graphics (created in Adobe Illustrator or a similar program) and should reflect the spirit of the market and Philadelphia. Click here for the full contest rules, timeline, and to submit your work.
