Alla Prima Still Life Oil Painting
Alla prima means to finish a painting in one sitting, and in each session, over the course of three hours, you will learn about color and tonal harmonies, perspective, application of paint and composition. You will also develop concentration, the intensity of working, and decision making through specific exercises while painting.
This Monday class is eight sessions in order to accommodate the two holidays that occur during the winter term: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 21, and Presidents’ Day, February 18. The class will not be held on these days and there will not be no makeup sessions.
