Ceramics Open Studio
Open Studio Hours are subject to change depending on studio availability. Participants must have a valid Fleisher membership.
Spring term hours are:
Monday to Thursday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Tuesday additional evening hours 6:30 p.m to 9:30 p.m.
Friday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Ceramics Open Studio is for the experienced and self-directed ceramicist interested in working in a shared space. Studios include twelve pottery wheels, hand building workstations, glazes, shared sink, and a variety of molds. Firing and glazes are included in the studio fee. Clay can be purchased at the school store. Participants must have technical proficiency, be capable of working independently and adhere to the studio firing schedule. Note, that this is a monitored studio and not an instructed class.
First time open studio users must register and attend an orientation in order to be eligible for open studio. Returning students are also encouraged to refresh their understanding of the studio space and studio equipment. There is no fee for the orientation. Orientation is held on the first Tuesday evening of the term or by appointment with the Studio Technician.
Open studio single visit policy
Students may purchase single drop-in visits to open studios for $10 per visit. Each visit includes three hours of access to monitored offerings in ceramics, printmaking, darkroom photography, and painting and drawing. Students must be enrolled in a class that matches the medium of the open studio. Visits may be purchased at the front desk.
