Third-Fifth Grade Storytelling (Wednesday)
Driven by Fleisher’s mission of access to high quality art experiences and our institutional values, “Creative Labs” at Fleisher will aim to provide young people a safe, inclusive art program during after school hours emphasizing art as a thought process that allows young people to retain their high level of creativity and critical thinking. Students will learn skill building in the foundational art medium of mixed media while working around a united theme.
In a first for Fleisher, we are excited to offer creative writing as another outlet for the voice and mind. Through fictional and non-fictional storytelling, poetry and personal narratives, students will use writing to nurture their imaginations and express themselves.
