How to Register
For most classes and workshops, Fleisher accepts registrations on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is recommended. Waiting lists are established once a class fills, and applicants will be contacted if spaces become available. To register for a tuition-free class, you must be a current Fleisher member.
Because of their popularity, admission to Fleisher’s tuition-free Saturday Young Artists Program for children and youth ages 5 – 18 is by lottery only. Learn more and enter the lottery.
Fleisher offers tuition assistance to offset the cost of tuition-bearing classes and workshops. Learn more about tuition assistance.
Refund, Withdrawal & Cancellation Policy
Fleisher reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop due to inadequate enrollment or faculty availability. In the event that Fleisher cancels class or workshop registrants will receive full refunds for all fees paid for that workshop, excluding membership contributions. To withdraw and for inquiries about refunds and cancellations, contact 215-922-3456 ext. 328 or email@example.com. Students who wish to withdraw from a class or workshop in which they registered must notify Fleisher in order to receive a refund.
Requests for refunds made to the registrar within 72 hours of registration: 100% of the class cost will be refunded
After the above, prior to two weeks before the start of the 1st class: 100% of tuition (excludes studio & model fees)
After the above, prior to the end of the 2nd class: 50% of tuition (excludes studio & model fees)
Membership contributions are tax-deductible, and are non-refundable. Memberships cannot be transferred to another term or person.
Policy on Tuition-free Class Attendance
Fleisher’s tuition-free classes fill quickly and are in high demand. In order to attend tuition-free classes, students must:
Be a current Fleisher member.
Attend the first two classes of each session (If you cannot attend either the first or second class, you must contact Fleisher’s registrar firstname.lastname@example.org in advance of the start of the term)
Adult tuition-free class registrations are limited to two free classes per student, and should not be taken more than twice in succession by any student
There are no refunds for tuition-free classes
Fleisher reserves the right to remove a student from a roster if the total Tuition-Free Adult Class registrations exceed two per term. Students who miss either the first or second class without notifying the registrar will be removed from the roster, and the seat will be offered to a student from the waitlist.
