Wednesday Nights in the Fall, Winter, and Spring, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in Fleisher's Historic Sanctuary Space

Introduced in 2013, The Sanctuary Series was developed in support of Fleisher’s mission to make art accessible to everyone. The series provides low-commitment learning experiences for our creative community to explore its interest in the arts.

Supporting and supplementing Fleisher’s regular class and workshop offerings, Sanctuary Series events range from artist talks, film screenings, musical and dance performances, as well as hands on workshops. The Sanctuary Series is always free and open to the public.

The series is programmed around four focal points:

The Sanctuary Series offers make-and-take workshops that explore a range of media that are designed for people of all backgrounds to come together and create art in an inspiring setting.

Fleisher highlights individuals living a creative life, who share ways in which everyone can integrate creative strategies into their everyday or professional lives.

The Sanctuary is an ideal location to experiment with new ideas and allows Fleisher to test programming that falls outside its traditional visual arts focus.

Partnerships with organizations such as AfroTaino Productions and Bowerbird present a diverse calendar of concerts that explore both traditional and experimental sound in the acoustically resonant Sanctuary.
