Cathy Hopkins

Cathy Hopkins has been an instructor of sculpture at Fleisher since 1977. Additionally, Cathy has also taught at the Perkins Center for the Arts and the Wayne Art Center. Her work has been exhibited at venues locally and internationally, including: The Franklin Institute, California Science Center, Telecom Corporate Headquarters, Nauticus, the United States Navy National Maritime Center, the Museo Graphica (Mexico City), the American Museum of Natural History, Woodmere Art Museum, Wayne Art Center, and the Tennessee State Museum.

Cathy has been acclaimed for the suits and props she has made for Philadelphia’s Mummers since 1985. Her public commissions include works for Lloyd Hall, Presbyterian Medical Center and Twitty City (Nashville). Also, she has done commercial work for The Franklin Mint, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Society Hill Club, The Hunt Company, Hasbro-Bradley, Koeser/Bunch Designs, and others.
