Darla Jackson
Darla Jackson has been teaching and exhibiting in Philadelphia since her graduation from Moore College of Art & Design in 2003. Darla has taught figure and animal sculpture classes throughout the area at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the University of the Arts, the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, and the Wallingford Community Arts Center.
Darla’s sculpture has been exhibited in many local venues, including as a Fleisher Wind Challenge artist, the Philadelphia Art Alliance, Seraphin Gallery, the Icebox at the Crane Building and the Philadelphia Museum of Art; as well as various venues in California, New Jersey, Washington D.C. and Tremelo, Belgium. In 2011 Jackson was named as a winner of the Knight Arts Challenge Philadelphia.
