Michael Ajero

Michael Ajero received a B.A. specializing in Radio/TV/Film 1991 from Rowan University. He worked freelance in the film industry as a grip and production assistant. Michael began his fine art studies at Fleisher Art Memorial. In 2005, he received a certificate in painting from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and has served as a life drawing monitor, still life painting monitor and substitute at Fleisher since 2005. Some of his instructors included David Graeme Baker, Christine Lafuente, Al Gury, Scott Noel, Sidney Goodman, Anthony Visco, John Horn, and Sabin Howard. In 2013, he was commissioned by Philly Boxing History/John DiSanto to created the Bennie Briscoe Medal for the Briscoe Awards given to the top Philadelphia area boxing professionals and amateurs each year.
