Fleisher’s teaching artist\, Scott Cooper\, will lead you through an evening celebrating ceramics with an introduction to glazing techniques and a workshop to design and decorate your own ceramic vessel designed by Cooper. No art experience is necessary. All supplies are included. \nTickets are $25 and are considered a charitable donation. The first exhibition\, on view from February 11 through March 10 in the Dene M. Louchheim Galleries at Fleisher\, showcases the work of Katie Kaplan\, Paige Morris\, Kara Mshinda. The second part of this year’s series will follow from March 25 through April 21 featuring the work of Jordan Deal\, Lena Kolb\, and Caitlin McCormack. \nEstablished in 1978\, the Wind Challenge is an annual juried competition committed to featuring the work of exceptional artists living in the Philadelphia region. Since its inception\, the series has supported the careers of hundreds of emerging artists and introduced their work to thousands of visitors. DESCRIPTION:Love is in the air! People of all ages are invited to join us in our Works on Paper building (705 Christian Street) to make their own valentines while exploring a wide range of printmaking techniques from block print to screenprint. No experience is necessary as our artists will be on hand to help participants work with designs donated by some of the region’s best printmakers. Registration is required; view sessions and register below. \n  \nAll Ages Sessions\n$12 per person\, includes all printing materials and takeaways. Activities are suitable for ages 5 and up. \nWhen Hallmark cards just won’t cut it\, say I love you with a handmade valentine. Explore Fleisher’s printmaking facilities and crank the presses in a family-friendly session and you’ll walk away with enough cards for all of your crushes and a tote bag! \n  \nAdults 21+ Session\n$30 per person\, BYOB (corkage fee of $10 per wine bottle\, cash only) \nThe adults only session of Print Love-In is an afternoon of printmaking exploration with tasty libations\, music\, and more! You’ll end the evening with a screenprinted tote bag full of valentines and an introduction to printmaking basics.
