DESCRIPTION:Únase a Fleisher Art Memorial para celebrar Sembrar\, Cultivar y Cosechar (Sow\, Cultivate and Harvest)\, el primer monumento público que honra a los residentes hispanos de Philadelphia. La obra adorna el edificio Works on Paper en 705 Christian St. Philadelphia. The work adorns the Works on Paper building at 705 Christian St. The work speaks to the juventud acumulada or accumulated youth of the participants and combines a variety of symbols with significance to the group\, such as Fleisher’s Sanctuary rosette\, the human embrace\, and the important roles that elders play in Hispanic communities. The celebration kicks off in front of Sembrar\, Cultivar y Cosechar with drop-in art making followed by a ribbon cutting. Festivities will culminate with a family meal in the Fleisher Sanctuary with participating artists sharing recollections from their two-year Creative Aging journey.
