SUMMARY:Pop Arts: Ocean Journey - Collaborative Movement Improvisation (grades 3-5)
DESCRIPTION:In this movement class\, students will work together to create a dance based loosely on the Greek epic poem The Odyssey. We will use dance improvisation and creative movement methods to explore the story through movement. Together\, we will experiment with collaboration across distance\, and we’ll each come away with new movement vocabulary and expressive tools. \nInstructor: Leslie Bush \nPop Arts are Fleisher’s new online Saturday workshops\, featuring fun and engaging art-making experiences for young artists in grades K-12. Carefully designed by our talented teaching artists\, each Pop Arts workshop runs for 90 minutes. Young artists and their families are encouraged to sign up for as many workshops as they want! \nEach workshop is offered with a suggested donation of $10-$15. Advanced registration is required and space is limited. Pop Arts will be hosted on Zoom\, and you will receive a link to join once you complete your registration.
