SUMMARY:Professional Practice: Artist as Entrepreneur
DESCRIPTION:Get feedback on your ideas in a supportive environment\, learn best practices for documenting and writing about your work\, and discover new funding opportunities in these free professional practice workshops. Professional practice workshops are suitable for artists of all levels. Advanced registration is required. \nArtists create work on commission\, teach workshops\, and do contractual work but many do not see themselves as entrepreneurs. In actuality\, working as an artist is much like owning a small business. This workshop will focus on key elements of entrepreneurship and draw the connections to artistic growth and financial freedom. Participants will also learn about various forms of business formation. \nInstructor: Linda Fernandez
