SUMMARY:Sophie Sanders: Take Refuge
DESCRIPTION:Join Wind Challenge 1 artist Sophie Sanders and learn about the intentions behind her work in Ophelia Rising\, which explores the need for self-care and sanctuary spaces. Sanders will screen a brief video\, and engage with participants through discussions and a collaborative painting project in Fleisher’s historic Sanctuary. Participants will have an opportunity to contribute to a collective meditation on water\, rejuvenation\, and improvisational ink painting. \nThis event is free\, but registration is required. Limited space available.  \nThis workshop is presented as part of the public programming that surrounds each Wind Challenge exhibition. Wind Challenge 1 is on view through November 9 and is made possible through the support of the Wind Foundation and Fleisher members.
