DESCRIPTION:Established in 1978\, the Wind Challenge Exhibition Series is an annual juried competition committed to enriching and expanding people’s lives through art. \nSince its inception\, the series has introduced regional contemporary art from over three hundred artists to a broad audience and has helped emerging artists advance their professional careers. Over the past decade\, a series of free public programs led by the artists has been integrated in order to deepen the viewing experience for youth and adults. \nChallenge 2 will include the work of Christina P. Day\, Evgenia Kim\, and Natalie Kuenzi. \nPlease join us for the Wind Challenge Artist Exchange—featuring a conversation with the artists—and opening reception on Friday\, February 18. Capacity is limited and advance registration is required for both events; please visit event listings for a link to register on Eventbrite. \nThe Wind Challenge Exhibition Series is made possible thanks to generous support from the Wind Foundation and Fleisher members.
