Casting Open Studio

Casting Open Studio is for the self-directed student who would like to cast a clay sculpture in plaster. Note this is not an instructed class. Participants must have technical proficiency, be capable of working independently, and agree to adhere to the rules of the studio. No life casting, or casting of glass or sharp metal objects is permitted in Casting Open Studio. Plaster casting materials provided with your studio fee. Materials for rubber molds are not provided and only silicone rubber is allowed in the studio.

If you have no casting experience you can learn to cast in an all-day immersive workshop, Casting, on September 27, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participants must have a valid Fleisher membership.
