Creative Labs: 3rd-5th Grade Sculpture (Friday)

Creative Labs offers young people in kindergarten through fifth grade a safe, inclusive after-school program that uses all forms of art to encourage retention of their creativity and critical thinking. Using visual art, movement, puppetry, and creative writing, Creative Labs becomes a space where young artists can start to ask and answer questions about who they are and how they want to define themselves.

Three-dimensional work allows young artists to expand their understanding of artistic concepts and techniques into creatures and creations of their very own. From the realistic to the abstract, students will learn that sculpture can lead to endless creative possibilities.

Students can arrive any time after 3:00 p.m., where they will spend one hour of homework and snack (included with tuition) time. Classes will run from 4:00-5:30 p.m., with after care provided until 6:00 p.m.
