Darkroom Open Studio

Darkroom Open Studio is for the intermediate to experienced photography student who needs extra time in the darkroom to develop film and print negatives. Participants must have technical proficiency, be capable of working independently, and agree to adhere to the rules of the studio. Note that this is a monitored open studio and not an instructed class.

Spring hours:
Wednesday: 6:15 – 9:15 p.m.
Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Participants must have a valid Fleisher membership.

Note that this classroom is accessible by stairs only.

Special Note
Open studios will take place on Fleisher’s campus and will follow strict social distancing protocols. Students will have to sign up for time slots each week to reserve their spot and check-in at the front desk before entering the studio. A link to the signup page will be sent via email after students finish the registration process. Wearing a mask and staying 6 feet apart will be required during all open studio hours. The studios will be cleaned and disinfected daily. Students will also need to sign a waiver during their first visit to Open Studio hours.
