Drawing Organic Forms

Learn techniques and concepts to enhance the illusion of three-dimensional form and depth of space in your drawings by using linear perspective. Once you are drawing several objects in relationship to each other in space, you are already dealing with perspective whether you realize it or not! We will discuss and practice scale change, overlap, and variation of line weight as well as basic concepts of one and two point perspective. You will draw diagrammatically and from observation using photocopied images, still life, the beautiful Fleisher Sanctuary, and the figure in the environment.

Please note: This is a 6-session workshop. Fleisher will be closed on Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day, and class will conclude on Monday, August 1.

Special Notes

This is an in-person class which will take place in our building with strict social distancing protocols and reduced student capacity. Please see our COVID-19 community safety policies.
