Drawing Urban Architecture (five-session workshop)

In this online workshop, you will learn how to draw your city with a specific focus on architecture and the textures of the urban environment. The course will cover perspective techniques including 1, 2, and 3 point perspectives. You’ll learn how to work with reference photographs of images you’ll might take on your strolls through the city or from images provided by the instructor. You are encouraged to use whatever medium you choose, but the focus will be on watercolor, ink, and pencils. We’ll work on small-scale paper so that by the end of each session you will either have a completed piece or be close to finishing it.

Special notes:
This is an online class hosted through Zoom. We recommend that you download the free Zoom application on your computer, phone, or tablet in advance of the first class. You will receive a confirmation email containing a link to join the course via Zoom. The same link will be used each week.
