Drawing with Pastels (five-session immersive workshop)
Explore the rich and vibrant medium of pastel drawing. Learn different application techniques like blending and cross-hatching to create still-life, landscape, and self-portrait drawings. Experiment with using pastels combined with other media like charcoal and gouache, while learning about color and design. First hour of each class will include lecture and demonstration, in the second hour there will be time to work on your own projects with opportunities for questions and discussion.
This is an online class hosted through Zoom. We recommend that you download the free Zoom application on your computer, phone, or tablet in advance of the first class. Within 48 hours of registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to join the course via Zoom. The same link will be used each week.
