Intuitive Concepts for Painting (Tuesday)
Want to push your painting further? This class is for the intermediate painter with experience in drawing and oil or acrylic painting methods. It offers space to explore new directions, through exercises in both representational and abstract image making, explorations into visual intuition, and studies in formalism. Instruction will include individual and group critiques and demonstrations.
Students will gain an understanding of the appropriate use of acrylic paint and principles of composition and color theory. This course in Intuitive Painting focuses on exploring how paint and movement work together to create an original visual language that speaks to your own creative impulses.
Both oil and acrylic painters welcome.
