Jewelry Open Studio
Jewelry Open Studio provides access to self-directed students interested in jewelry and metalsmithing in a shared space. Jewelry studios include workbenches, shared tools, soldering station, polishing station, 4 flex shafts, and a drill press. Participants must have technical proficiency, be capable of working independently, and agree to adhere to the rules of the studio. Note, that this is a monitored studio and not an instructed class.
Participants must have a valid Fleisher membership. Please stop in at the front desk each day to sign-in. Please be advised that access to the studio is via stairs only.
First-time open studio users must participate in an orientation, please select this during registration as an additional item. Contact Vita Litvak, Manager of Adult Programs, to arrange your orientation by phone 215-922-3456 extension 312.
Students should bring any supplies they would like to use as well as their own metals.
Open studios be held on Fleisher’s campus and will follow strict social distancing protocols. Students will have to sign up for time slots each week and check in at the front desk before entering the studio. A link to the signup page will be sent via email after students finish the registration process. Wearing a mask and staying six feet from all students will be required during all open studio hours. The studios will be cleaned and disinfected daily. Students will also need to sign a waiver during their first visit.
