Morphing Creatures: Telling Stories with Fabric and Movement (K-2nd grade)

Students will use their bodies and different fabrics to explore all the ways they can create movement. We will wiggle, slither, shake, and spin, using the fabric as tails, capes, and costumes to transform themselves into whatever creature or character they invent. They’ll learn new dance moves, and come up with their own expressive ways of moving. At the end of the course, we will create a dance film of the students showing off all of their new dance moves!
