Mosaics (Monday)

This is your introduction to the techniques, history, and aesthetic context of decorative and functional mosaics. Among the mosaic materials you may use are stone, ceramic, and glass. The emphasis will be on design, pattern, construction, and finished presentation.

Your instructor will provide lots of useful information about historical and contemporary mosaic works, along with where to source materials and specialized tools, for your specific projects.

Please note: this is an 8-session course. Fleisher will be closed on January 16 and February 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and President’s Day.
