Treasures, trinkets, tchotchkes, charms, plastic beads, ivory brooches. Most likely we’ve all got objects like these in our homes. And maybe, if you’re using quarantine time to “go through” your attic and/or basement, you’ve seen a lot more of them recently. These items can be used to great effect. “Found object” mosaics can honor a person, preserve memories or simply be whimsical and fun. In this class, each student will make a unique piece while travelling with the group through the steps of gathering materials, design, and proper execution. New skills will be explained and demonstrated in detail. Online, as in a physical classroom, Claire creates a warm, inclusive, upbeat, supportive environment. Plan to make mistakes and to succeed! All levels welcome.
