Painting Fundamentals

Curiosity and the desire to experience painting are the requirements for this class. Students with any level of art experience are welcomed to experiment with color, line, and the power of perception that makes painting a powerful experience. This online class will introduce you to color relationships and mixing colors, principles of composition, paint application techniques, and working from the self-portrait. The first hour of the class will be spent on demonstrations by the instructor and the second hour students will have a chance to work independently and share their work in progress with the instructor and the class.
