Portrait Painting

This workshop is designed to instruct and encourage both beginning and advanced students. The instructor will provide information on facial structures and do demonstrations each week. Students will go through exercises designed to strengthen their ability in obtaining proportions, recognizing facial structures, and calibrating value relationships. The ultimate goal is for students to learn a thinking process that will lead to a painting process that can both be logical and expressive.
