Screenprinting on Fabric
Come learn how to create your own powerful designs and print them on fabrics of your choice! Students will be introduced to the steps in the screen-print process for printing on fabric. From motifs on T-shirts to repetitive patterns on yardage, students will experiment with surface design for fiber art, fashion, or home decor. Hand-drawn and computer-based imagery techniques will be explored. This class is appropriate for both screen printers who want to expand into working with fabric, and for fiber enthusiasts who wish to delve into silkscreen at either the beginner or intermediate levels.
Please note: this is a 9-session course. Fleisher will be closed on Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day.
