Self-Portrait Sculpture

Learn the basic skills of portrait sculpture using yourself as the model. With the use of two mirrors, you will learn to see the major and minor geometric components and proportions of the head. Coordinating the front view and side profile from the mirrors you will learn how to sculpt the volumes of the head. The class will include demonstrations by the instructor and time to work individually and receive feedback on work in progress. You can purchase clay at Fleisher and drop off your completed work to be fired at Fleisher.
