Small Frame Weaving (five-session workshop)

Jump into the exciting world of fiber arts weaving! In this workshop, you will learn how to make your own small frame loom and design a woven wall hanging. You will explore a variety of different weaving techniques, and experiment with color, pattern and texture to create a one-of-a-kind work of fiber art.

What you will learn:

  • How to build your own frame loom

  • A variety of different weaving techniques

  • How to work with different yarns, colors, and patterns

  • How to weave a wall hanging from start to finish

Required supplies:

  • A hammer

  • All other supplies will be provided by the instructor. However, students are encouraged to bring yarn, fabric, or inspiration materials that they are excited about or want to learn how to incorporate into a woven piece.
