The Art of Protest
Throughout human history, art has been used as vehicle for giving voice to movements of social and political change. Over two weeks, students will learn about some of modern history’s most famous protest art moments, and use those styles as a vehicle to speak about their own thoughts and concerns in this new decade.
Figure Drawing Intensive
Learn, study, practice, and hone your skills at drawing the likeness of the human portrait. In this two week intensive workshop, you will become proficient at drawing from live models, working on proportion, shading, and composition. Learn a variety of techniques and styles while starting to building a portfolio of work for any aspiring artist.
Tuition includes a non-refundable $120 studio fee, which covers the cost of all art supplies for the class. Please note that membership discounts do not apply to summer workshops for children and youth.
