Saturday Young Artists Program Lottery

Because of the popularity of Fleisher’s Tuition-Free Saturday classes admission to the program is by lottery only. Fleisher’s classes are designed to be age-appropriate for children and youth between the ages of 5 to 18. Children must be at least 5 years old before the beginning of the term for which they are registered. Parents or guardians of 5-year-olds must provide proof of their child’s age at registration.

To apply online click on the relevant link below. If you do not already have an account with us, you will need to create one before you can apply for the lottery. Please do not register your child more than one time, doing so may disqualify the child from being eligible for the Saturday Young Artists Program.

The Lottery Process

  • Lottery forms may be completed online, emailed, mailed or hand delivered to Fleisher Art Memorial, 719 Catherine St. Philadelphia, PA 19147.

  • The lottery is conducted at Fleisher and results are sent to all participants by email within three weeks of the lottery deadline. Please save Fleisher’s email in your address book to assure that our email correspondence does not end up in your spam folder.

  • The Saturday program consists of 3 class sessions; morning, mid-morning and afternoon (with the exception of Cambodian Dance, which is only open to beginning students during the morning session.)

  • If selected from the lottery your child will be placed in the first available opening and may not be able to move to another time slot during the first term due to the fullness of the program, however, it will be possible to change to your preferred session after the successful completion of the first term.

  • A mandatory parent/guardian orientation is held for parents whose child is chosen through the lottery to clarify the policies and guidelines of the program, and to answer any further questions. Registration will not be finalized until after the orientation.
