Our Stories | Valentine’s Edition: Pop-Up Valentine’s Day Books

Join Fleisher Art Memorial and Sunrise of Philadelphia, as we create handmade pop-up books celebrating the loved ones in our lives and our relationships. Dedicated for families and children of all ages, the activity is designed to encourage participants to reflect on the relationships in their lives and express gratitude. Participants will be guided through the process by Fleisher Art Memorial teaching artists and all supplies are provided free of charge.

About the Our Stories Project
On the first Thursday of every month, come share your family’s story through art and literature with Fleisher and Sunrise of Philadelphia. Make art with fun, interactive techniques, read together as a family, and leave with materials to do both at home! First Thursdays are free and no registration is required. Each event will also feature giveaways of Fleisher memberships.
Funded by the William Penn Foundation, Our Stories is an arts-based literacy program that focuses on oral and visual traditions for Southeast Philadelphia children ages 5-9 and their families.
