Volunteer at Fleisher

Every year, Fleisher volunteers and interns contribute thousands of hours in support of our art education and exhibition programs.

Internships may be arranged for credit with a college or university. These internships occasionally offer a stipend payable by the college or university. Fleisher does not offer any paid internships. Unpaid internships may be arranged for personal enrichment and are considered on a rolling basis.

Dear Fleisher, opportunities

Now in its eighth edition, Dear Fleisher, creates fun, engaging opportunities for community members to interact with art and artists, while raising $50,000 to support access to the arts for more than 20,000 children and adults from throughout our city. A week of events will welcome 2,500 people of all ages, both new visitors and loyal friends, to experience this remarkable exhibition and collect an original artwork from a selection of 650+ pieces, affordably priced at $50 each. Artwork is displayed anonymously until sold, creating an even playing field for visitors to react to the merits of each piece. More than 300 artists, from Philadelphia and beyond, receive recognition for both their creative talent and generous spirit in support of art for all.

We need many helping hands!
