Hanna Vogel is an artist, writer, and teacher living and working in Philadelphia. Born and raised in rural northern California, she received an MFA from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a BFA from the California College of the Arts. She has shown her work nationally and internationally, and has presented at conferences and published papers internationally. Her work has been published in Polonium 3 from SprocketBox Publishing, Fiber Art Now Magazine, and Woven Tale Press. She has received fellowships/grants from Yaddo, Anderson Ranch, Haystack, Penland, the California College of the Arts, and the Fiber Art Network, and will be a resident artist at Sculpture Space and at Furman University in 2018.
