Artist Talk: IFE NII-OWOO: Witnessing Forces of Olukun (Water), Adinkra, and Indigo

Join us for an artist talk with Ife Nii-Owoo, 2021-2022 Leeway Resident Artist at Fleisher Art Memorial. During her residency at Fleisher, Nii-Owoo has continued to develop work speaking to the power of myth, symbol and African spiritual practice in African diasporan cultures. Her work translates timely and timeless themes into visual art forms using mosaics, screenprint, painting, collage, and found objects.
