Pop Arts: Creating Landscapes from Indoors (grades K-2)

This workshop is perfect for reconnecting with nature through your imagination. Together, we’ll talk about textures and gather some objects with interesting textures from around our homes. Then, taking crayons or pastels and paper, we’ll create rubbings of these textures so we can collage them into an imagined landscape.

Pop Arts are Fleisher’s new online Saturday workshops, featuring fun and engaging art-making experiences for young artists in grades K-12. Carefully designed by our talented teaching artists, each Pop Arts workshop runs for 90 minutes. Young artists and their families are encouraged to sign up for as many workshops as they want! Each workshop is offered with a suggested donation of $10-$15. Advanced registration is required and space is limited. Pop Arts will be hosted on Zoom, and you will receive a link to join once you complete your registration.
