Sophie Sanders: Take Refuge

Join Wind Challenge 1 artist Sophie Sanders and learn about the intentions behind her work in Ophelia Rising, which explores the need for self-care and sanctuary spaces. Sanders will screen a brief video, and engage with participants through discussions and a collaborative painting project in Fleisher’s historic Sanctuary. Participants will have an opportunity to contribute to a collective meditation on water, rejuvenation, and improvisational ink painting.

This workshop is presented as part of the public programming that surrounds each Wind Challenge exhibition. Wind Challenge 1 is on view through November 9 and is made possible through the support of the Wind Foundation and Fleisher members.
