Get Ready for the Fall Term

As we enjoy the heat and sun of mid-July it’s hard to turn our thoughts to falling leaves and crisp air, but registration for fall adult classes and workshops opens Monday, July 20, at 8:00 a.m. Registration for tuition-free classes will open the following Monday, July 27, at 8:00 a.m.

You may have heard already, but Philadelphia is expecting a pretty big visitor in late-September. With Pope Francis’ visit expected to draw over one million people to the city and bring a tremendous number of travel issues, Fleisher is condensing the fall term to nine weeks. Our standard tuition prices will be lower to reflect the change and there will be no classes September 21-26.

To get ready for the term, browse our class listings or download a copy of the schedule grid from Freehand. Don’t forget to check out some of our new offerings, such as Introduction to Spoon Carving, Zentangle Drawing on Fabric and Objects, Landscape Painting Along the Schuylkill River, Printmaking Techniques: Two-Color Lithography, Book Arts: Secret Belgian Binding, and much more.
