Fleisher From a Distance: Acrylic Still Life Painting Demonstration

Join Fleisher teaching artist Priscilla Bell as she explains techniques and methods of acrylic still life painting. Priscilla is a figurative painter who works primarily with acrylic paint. Her work is expressive in style, and Priscilla describes her work as Indigenous and AfroFuturism. In this demonstration, she will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of acrylic paint as a medium, and walk us through the steps of painting a still life with her unique approach.

Priscilla received her BFA and MFA from Moore College of Art & Design. Throughout the years, Priscilla looked towards her family, surroundings, and cultural heritage for guidance and inspiration. She continues to explore the issues that mean the most to her, including parenthood, indigenous rights, urban decay, and what it means to be a woman artist.

This demonstration is open to the public with a suggested donation of $10 but is limited to maximum number of 100 participants. Advanced registration is required. The tour will be hosted through Zoom, which can be accessed on desktop and laptop computers, as well as mobile devices. We highly recommend downloading the Zoom app to your device in advance. You will receive a URL to join the demonstration after you complete the registration process.
