Making Wings with Darla Jackson

Pennsylvania Ballet Spread Your Wings Program celebrates the beauty of movement through a variety of artistic disciplines and experiences. Through community partnerships, including Fleisher Art Memorial, Spread Your Wings equips Philadelphians of all abilities to engage with the creative experience of art-making and movement. Accomplished artist and educator Darla Jackson will lead a class on creating 3D wings from home using a variety of materials. Participants in this class will have the opportunity to be selected to be included in a public exhibition at Cherry Street Pier in Spring of 2021. This workshop is free and open to the public. Advanced registration is required and spaces are limited.

This workshop will meet on four consecutive Mondays, Feb. 1 through 22, and will be hosted through Zoom. We highly recommend downloading the Zoom app to your device in advance. You will receive a URL to join the workshop after you complete the registration process. The same link will be used to access the workshop each week.
