Registration for Summer Camp is Open!
As one of the nation’s oldest nonprofit community art schools. Fleisher Art Memorial has stayed true to our founder’s vision of enhancing the lives of Philadelphia’s residents, especially young people, through visual art for more than 120 years. Fleisher’s tuition-free and low-cost programs for young artists are led by an accomplished roster of teaching artists and provide pathways to explore creative and cultural identities, experience the pride that comes with creation, and develop long-lasting and supportive relationships.
This summer, Fleisher will offer a series of fun and immersive workshops designed for young people ages 5-18. Young artists can enroll in half-day or full-day sessions and explore a wide range of mediums, including printmaking, fiber arts, ceramics, comics, and mosaics. Younger participants are encouraged to get messy, play, and discover while high school-aged artists can pursue specific mediums more rigorously in order to develop their individual portfolios. Teen workshops are two weeks long: all other workshops are one week long.
