Fleisher Art Memorial is delighted to welcome Jess Traub, Senior Advisory Consultant at Guidehouse, and Nicole McDonald, Deputy Director of Friends of the Rail Park, to our Board of Directors. 

Meet Jess Traub 

As an adult student at Fleisher, Jess rekindled her passion for artistic expression by enrolling in ceramics, drawing, jewelry-making, and mosaics classes.  Through those experiences, she discovered the power of community, creativity, and lifelong learning – values that inspired her to become more deeply involved with Fleisher. 

Professionally, Jess helps mission-driven organizations strengthen decision making, navigate change, and plan for long-term success. She also brings experience supporting nonprofit education. She recently completed Young Involved Philadelphia’s Board Preparation program, which deepened her commitment to nonprofit board leadership. 

Jess is excited to bring her strategic expertise, collaborative spirit, and enthusiasm for Fleisher’s mission as our organization continues to expand equitable access to art and creative expression. 

Meet Nicole McDonald 

A career arts administrator, Nicole understands the transformative power of art and its ability to strengthen both individuals and communities. She was drawn to Fleisher’s commitment to arts accessibility and work to create an inclusive environment where creativity can thrive. 

Throughout her career, Nicole has developed programs, projects, and events for diverse communities across the country. Her work with organizations deeply rooted in Philadelphia, including Mural Arts Philadelphia, Broad Street Love, and Friends of the Rail Park, has shown her the power of collaboration and community. Nicole sees those same qualities reflected in Fleisher and the lasting impact it has had on generations of artists and neighbors. 

Nicole is excited to bring her experience, community-centered approach, and passion for the arts to the Board as Fleisher continues to expand access to creative expression for all.
