Art-based community engagement is a process of working collaboratively with people affiliated by interests in art, culture, and creativity and a collective desire to make our communities better places for all by developing, sharing, and promoting creative resources.
Participants describe the Teen Lounge as a “stress-free,” “friendly” environment, where they can “meet people from lots of different backgrounds and make friends.” With guidance from Fleisher’s Teen Lounge Monitor, teens develop their own creative program by choosing the artists with whom they wish to work.Read More
The community is invited to the annual celebration of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at Fleisher with a series of events and workshops scheduled for mid-October to early November.
