12 Hour Photo: Color Darkroom Marathon

Did you ever wish you’d learned to develop and print color film and photographs in the darkroom, but just never had the time? Are you experienced with color darkroom photography, but looking for a new challenge? Join Fleisher faculty Ahmed Salvador for this workshop. There are no prerequisites for this offering, which is open to students at all levels.

Beginners will learn all the basic skills including how to operate a 35mm camera settings for greater control, how to develop color film and print from negatives, and how to print and manipulate color images in the darkroom.

Students with more experience will work alongside the instructor to finesse their color prints with knowledge of printing techniques such as dodging and burning, using contrast filters, etc.
