Field Recording Sound Walk (one session)

This one day workshop will be an overview of Sound Art. Participants in the workshop will explore a range of listening techniques that will expand into a guided sound walk where we will learn basic recording techniques for field recording.

What you will learn:
1. Overview of sound art
2. Deep listening techniques
3. Field recording techniques

This class will meet in Fleisher’s Digital lab with access through the 709 Catherine entrance (blue-grey door). The walk will proceed from there.
