Fleisher From a Distance: Drawing What You See Demonstration

We believe that everyone can draw! Drawing is a skill that can be learned and achieved through practice. Join us for this demonstration with Candy Alexandra González, who will lead us in simple and fun drawing exercises that will help loosen up your drawing and explore some basic techniques. You can follow the demonstrations along at home if you bring a pencil and some paper!

Candy Alexandra González is a Latinx papermaker, printmaker, book artist, and poet from Miami. In their visual and written work, Candy Alexandra centers the narratives of Latinx immigrants and captures the essence of their own experiences as a queer, first-generation Latinx immigrant in the United States. Candy Alexandra received their BA in romance languages and literature from Mount Holyoke College in 2014 and their MFA in book arts and printmaking from The University of the Arts in 2017.
